Successful affirmative action at Eskom

January 28, 2008 – 7:52 am

I watched Carte Blanche on M-Net last night, and their coverage of the “Eskom problem” caused me much pain indeed. It is shameful how white alarmists, and their puppets, have tried to blame the current Eskom problems on affirmative action! Do these people have no shame?

It is plainly obvious that affirmative action has turned Eskom into a far more efficient organization. Eskom has managed to cut their staff by almost 50%, thus making more money available for executive bonuses. I think Eskom should be applauded for this innovative action. They have set a wonderful example for the rest of South African industry.

At the same time, affirmative action has weeded out the “skilled white supremist element.” It has made Eskom far more efficient, because no longer do they produce more power than can be consumed. Well done Eskom.

There was one element of the Carte Blanche show that made my African heart smile. My name sake, Mr. Jacob Maroga, is obviously a skilled practitioner of that aspect of African Culture called denial. Very cleverly he was unavailable for the interview and left a westerner having to answer the questions… Very clever indeed! Of course whites are not very skilled at denial, but the westerner did a pretty good job of defending Jacob when asked, “Is Eskom still supplying power to our neighboring countries?”

Well my friends, once again it has been lovely talking to you. May all of you have a wonderful Monday, and please don’t forget: Viva! ANC! Viva!

Jacob

  3. Dear Jacob

Based on your informative comments about Eskom now being a far more efficient service provider, I must conclude the following. 1. You clearly did not watch the same programme of Carte Blanche the rest of South Africa was shown. 2. You are two ignorant to see what is happenning in SA. 3.You are too ingorant AND you are a racist(“skilled white supremist element.”) and last but certainly not least, for Mr Moroga to send a pale face to lie for him does not make him clever. It make him a gutless liar. So in conclusion, you are correct, VIVA ANC and this NOT because they are the moral revelutionaries that Govan Mbeki, Walter Sisula and Nelson Mandela produced but because the NCA are now as the rest of blach africa, intrinsically corrupt with everybbody for themslves. Pity the poor African, both white and black that get smeared into the dirt for this.
Have a great SA day my friend????

  5. LMAO at how some people can’t comprehend what tongue in cheek means or read betweenthe lines or being facetious or ironic or sarcastic - whatever you wish to call it.

Personally, I love the ANC. I think Eskom and the government are doing an excellent job. I will be voting for Zuma as president and hope he will invite Mugabe to seek exile in our country once he is eventually outsted. And most importantly, I do believe that showers do prevent HIV/AIDS.

    Viva Jacob, viva !

  8. Eskom is killing the economy with their increases and lack of delivery.

  9. If you believe that showers prevent AIDS; that eskom are the best run SA company and that the ANC deliver than you are retarded!!! The ANC don’t deliver and thats why the poor south africans still live in shacks without running water or food or even basic santiary. So next time the masses want to vote for Zuma and the ANC then I say suck it up when you are cold, hungry and dirty at night because you the ones who put Zuma and the ANC in charge and keep there without delivering all their promises. All Zuma cares about is keeping his “culture” - he doesn’t care about the black south african on the street.
